This guide will detail your options for getting connected to wifi on-campus such that you can still connect to your GitHub repository using SSH and other CS resources.

CS Classrooms and Labs

When you are in CS classrooms and labs, you can connect to our CS-specific wifi network. This includes the following spaces:

• CS 4th Floor and Labs, including the CS Labs in HR 413 and 415, the CS Support office in HR 408, and CS Office in HR 402
• CS Classrooms, including the Kudlick Classroom in HR 148, as well as LS G12 and LS 307

Connect to either CSLabs or CSLabs5 as the network name. Reach out to the instructor for the network password.

Other Spaces on Campus

When you are on campus but not in the CS classrooms or labs, then you need to use the USFConnect network. This has some unavoidable downsides:

• You need to register your devices, or access to protocols like SSH will be blocked.
• You need to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) client to register your devices.
• You need to use a VPN to protect the privacy and security of your data.
