Instead of a final exam, you will have a final code review during finals week. This is your last code review opportunity for the semester. You will receive your final grade for this class during this appointment.

The last part of each appointment will be spent reviewing your personal code statistics from the semester, which you might want to include on your resume. The final code review appointment is the only time these statistics will be calculated.

Appointments

Final code reviews are conducted via Zoom during finals week between Monday, Dec 9th to Thursday, Dec 12th. Each final code review appointment is 30 minutes each.

All students should sign up for a final code review appointment. These appointments do not need to be pre-approved; students should sign up right away regardless of their project progress.

Students must sign up for an appointment using the Canvas scheduler. Look for “Final Code Review” on the calendar. Appointments will be released gradually in batches.

Preparation

You need to make sure your last code review is prepared before your final code review appointment. This includes triggering the bot to setup a pull request in time for your appointment.

If you do not plan to submit any assignments requiring code review during your final appointment, you should still attend to get your personal statistics. See below for details.

Personal Statistics

Time permitting, the last part of each appointment will be spent calculating your personal code statistics from the semester. This includes the source-lines-of-code (SLOC) metric of your projects at various release points and Piazza statistics. These statistics are helpful to include on a resume and letters of recommendation.
